Bob Litchfield considers himself to be one of the luckiest men alive as he is able to merge his career with his passion for photography.

He has also been able to merge his passion for photography with his love for Western Australia and its unrivalled natural beauty.

Western Australia is often said to be Australia’s best kept secret being one of the most isolated regions in the world. Many visitors take in the east coast, and miss out on the West because of the distance and cost of travel. They are missing the best part !

The people are friendly and also because of our isolation are very innovative and self reliant. The landscape is huge, as are the distances and conditions are very varied, with desert conditions out to the east and north, and wonderful Jarrah and Karri forests containing an enormous range of unique wildflowers in the southwest.

Bob’s book ‘Cape to Cape’, focuses on the south western Margaret River region, which is also one of the state’s premier wine growing areas, illustrating the variety of landscape, flora and fauna available to the visitor only 3 – 4 hours drive from Perth.
